我们应用变分法,以摩勒—罗森费德之原子核位能为基础,计算2H,2H,3He,4He诸原子核之结合能。因所选之波函数简单,计算很容易。计算结果与实验所得结果符合,惟4He之结合能过大,指明所采用之原子核位能尚须加以修改。

在这里我们证明,应用摩勒—罗森费德之原子核位能公式,以286倍电子质量为介子之质量,来计算3H,4He之结合能,所得之结果与实验结果间之差异,虽经修改波函数,仍不能补救。

本文仍用根据介子学说之位能,但除去其与电荷无关之假定,来研究2H,3H,3He,4He诸原子核结合能之问题。初步计算所得结果指明,核子与中性介子场之作用不含有r3因子,又中性介子之质量略大於带电介子之质量。
