在9R-40型揉碎机上设计安装径向强制喂入装置，通过改变揉碎机主轴转速、喂入辊转速和喂入口处锤片形状，进行揉碎机的性能试验。采用正交试验方法分析3个因素对揉碎机性能的影响，得出了生产率的最优组合参数为：揉碎机主轴转速为2980r/min、喂入辊转速为267 r/min、锤片形状是槽型锤片。带径向喂入装置的揉碎机与不带喂入装置、采用人工喂料的原机对比试验表明，生产率提高了30%左右。

基于气力输送原理,设计了一套以S7-200可编程序控制器（PLC）为控制器，触摸屏为人机界面的自动投饵系统。论述了投饵设备的组成及工作原理, 控制系统的设计以及软件实现。通过PLC系统对下料速度、投饵时间、停饵时间等参数进行设定，实现自动投饵控制。试验结果表明，该系统达到设计要求，输送管长320m时投饵量可达1.1t/h，定量精度为±1.5%。
