2007年7月12日下午,美国德州大学韩海潮教授为西安交通大学师生作了一场有关血管生物力学的精彩报告。报告由西安交通大学航天航空学院实验室副主任申胜平主持。韩教授报告中讲到,在体血管受到血压、血流和纵向张力作用,血管在纵向应力提高时的组织改造和在纵向应力减弱时的失稳,这些结果对血管弯曲、打结的研究和治疗有重要的指导意义,血管的失稳理论对血管生物力学也有重要的意义等。
