阐述了稀燃天然气发动机缸内不同气体运动及其产生机理,分析了缸内气体运动对发动机燃烧过程的影响。针对稀燃天然气发动机的燃烧过程,设计了不同结构形状和尺寸的燃烧室,并分别通过数值模拟和试验方法,就不同结构的燃烧室对天然气发动机性能的影响进行了研究。结果显示,产生湍流强度大的燃烧室燃烧速度快,动力性和经济性较好,而NOx排放量也较大。
