神经胶质细胞是神经系统的重要组分,对于神经元的发育、功能和健康至关重要,其功能异常直接导致各种神经精神性疾病。相对于神经元,神经胶质细胞一般不形成典型的神经突触结构、细胞膜电兴奋性比较低,因此曾经长期被认为是“惰性”的组织,通过对神经元的支持、保护和营养等方式发挥作用。
