糖尿病是一种全球性的慢性疾病，随着生活水平的提髙，其发病率逐年上升。我国糖尿病患者已近1.3亿，其中近一半的患者会出现原发或继发性角膜病变。主要表现为角膜神经密度和敏感度下降、角膜上皮修复延迟，但其发病机制尚不完全清楚。
