近年来，肿瘤免疫治疗频繁取得突破性进展，例如，像PD1/CTLA4类的免疫检查点抑制剂对大约10-35%的实体肿瘤患者有效。过继性TIL细胞回输治疗对20-25%晚期黑色素瘤患者有效。细胞治疗，包括CAR-T和TCR-T细胞治疗，通过改造T细胞使其可以特异性得识别并杀伤肿瘤细胞。但是，细胞治疗对绝大部分实体瘤患者效果欠佳，CAR-T疗法仅在部分血液系统肿瘤中效果显著。
