2018年12月13日，“第三极环境”（TPE）国际计划联合中科院青藏高原所在美国首都华盛顿特区成功举办了AGU秋季大会“第三极之夜”边会。来自中国、美国、德国、荷兰、俄罗斯、英国、意大利、尼泊尔 、巴基斯坦等国的120多名学者参加了本次会议。
